The International Conference on Maternal and Child Nutrition took place at The Kingsbury on the 23rd and 24th of November 2015 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The overarching theme of the conference was "effective delivery through evidence and innovation". 

The conference was jointly organized by the South Asia Infant Feeding Research Network (SAIFRN) and UNICEF, with the Partnership of the Department Of Foreign Affairs and Trade - Australian High Commission Sri Lanka, in collaboration with The Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine Sri Lanka, The University of Colombo and The University of Sydney. Professor Michael Dibley from the School of Public Health at The University of Sydney was the Conference Chair.
